Homeless Projection Scotland is a Homeless Clemency in Scotland founded in October 2019. We achieved charitable status in June 2020. We are a non-profit organisation operated by a Board of Trustees in social club to aid the homeless and vulnerable in Scotland.
Our purpose is to feed and provide support to homeless and vulnerable people. Nosotros also act equally a trusted vocalization for the homeless and It is vital that we have integrity. We aim to be effective, efficient, contained and trustworthy. Our approach is to listen, learn, act and then speak.
We support homeless and vulnerable people and families in Scotland by working alongside partners and supporting people who need our help.
We provide on boilerplate over 130,000 meals to the homeless & vulnerable each year!
What we practise
Feeding our Homeless We operate soup kitchens across Scotland feed over 2,500 hot meals a week to people suffering from homelessness and vulnerable family's. Our soup kitchen provides aid directly to those in need.
Homeless Communication We aim to prevent homelessness at its source by providing assist to people at chance. We give advice on how to access food and other services. We also assistance people to access emergency adaptation if needed via our 24hr action line 0800 0147 160
Hygiene Packs Each calendar week nosotros provide over 70 hygiene packs to people who are homeless, vulnerable, family's beyond Scotland. this is to help with washing, and helping people to feel clean and fresh.
Food Banking company Every week we have tables with tins, packs, fresh fruit, vegetables, and much more this is for people to fill their bags and take information technology home and cook fresh meals at dwelling or heat a can of nutrient up.
Our volunteers are trained to use The #ZeroResponder bleed control training allows staff, who may be first on the scene of a critical incident which could result from an accident , criminal attack or terror assault , in which people in a public place suffer catastrophic bleeding, to stop the bleeding and save lives in the vital three to five minutes later on an incident, and earlier paramedics arrive.
